"Peep into 2018" Happy boxing day world. Its everyone's wish to find something they desire in one of those gift boxes they get today, that's if they got one anyways. But how about if you could see right through that box just before you open it huh? I guess thats what we are about to do to 2018's trend. Just a peep into some of the fashion trends we might likely encounter in the course of the year. 2017 was wonderful with off shoulder tops, peplums, ripped and distress denims,  the bleached ones,  vintage wears, the kimonos,  crop tops, jump suits and so on. Not like these are fading away entirely they might still be in vogue. Without wasting much of your scrolling time lets take a look at some of the trends we might encounter in 2018. So be on the look out. MIXED PRINTS You know this fashion thingy, some might choose to say its a statement,  some say its bla bla bla. I personally do not have any definition for it but if I were to il say its like a flowing oc

RIP to our Jeans :(

" The JEAN that RIPPED my heart out" 2017 has sure been a happy and rough year but it was rougher for the jeans, all thanks to their wearers.  The 80's trend which we thought wasn't coming back finally sipped its way through and here we go with the RIPPED JEANS.   Im happy that it wasn't in my generation that this trend came to the light but my happiness is short lived because it is in my generation we have the worst Rips on the jeans. Goodbye to the sanity of our jeans till we meet to part no more :(  RIP! Lets take a quick look at some of these expensive disasters. I saw a pair of glassy shoes and I thought that was cindarella not until my eyes travelled up wards. OMG! Like this is for real? Kim ripped that Jean so much that it almost ripped my heart out. Il call these ripped jean pants ummm "Torn currency" cos those didn't go anything less or more than £725.  It was after the release of this, that Google search for "ripped jean&qu

Blend it while you trend it

Blends blends blends, Unison, uniform, unity  Lol pardon  my play on words but to be trendy theres need for your outfit to be blendy. Blend with your skin tone, blend with your environment, blend with your accessories,  your dress needs to blend with each other.  You shouldn't go around looking like some joker searching for batman.  We should understand when you are clowning and when you wanna be tagged #hotSauce.  This is where the COLOUR WHEEL comes in .  We all know the rainbows colour ; red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet. When joined end to end it forms a wheel. And this is the easiest way your colours work together to give you that desired look.          HOW TO COMBINE COLOURS WARM AND COOL COLOURS Hues of colors like red, orange, yellow, brown, etc. are warm colors – they make things look smaller in size, and that’s why most of us prefer wearing warmer colors when we want to look slimmer. Cool colors, like hues of blue, purple, green, etc., are soot

Wright Dress for the right occasion

We all know theres a magic that happens when you are seated just by the window in the bus, headphones on, and some soothing linkin park music coming through while you watch the vast unending landscape go by like moving piano tiles or motion wallpapers. At this point most times you get deep in thought, thinking about nothing in particular.  But I guess at the moment I'm not the one seated by the window but I happened to be the one deep in though and drowning in the pool of my sweat because this damn bus is congested!!. I began to ask myself why do people wear the right clothes for the wrong occassions, not like I don't do it im a typical example.   I found myself in a steaming hot bus, dusty harmattan wind and here I was sweating all over.  But it was all my fault. I was wearing a "denim jacket, short sleeved shirt, thick skinny pants and a goddamn shoe"  I think wearing the right clothes for the right occasion is like having chocolate toppings on a disc of pizza.
